A controversial Morrissey campaign and a few site crashes later, Supreme has continued to pursue a rock-and-roll theme by teaming up with the English band Black Sabbath for a Spring/Summer ’16 capsule collection. Some of the cleaner staples of the collaboration such as the denim trucker jackets are overshadowed by the louder garments that highlight the band’s iconic typography and black and purple hues. In addition to the denim jackets, graphic tees and hooded parka, the collection includes a trio of hats, a color-blocked hockey jersey and a cross-shaped rug made in collaboration with Japan’s Gallery1950.
Hopefully resellers and hypebeasts who probably don’t even know who Ozzy Osbourne is will leave some garments available for actual fans of the band to wear at shows for the rest of Black Sabbath’s “The End” world tour. If you live in LA, NYC, Paris or London, you can expect the collection to drop March 31st, but if you live in Japan you can expect it the following day.
