Crooks & Castles makes their 2016 debut with a new lookbook showcasing their Spring collection. The brand was inspired by the iconic style of director Hype Williams and his films like Belly. For many, Belly exemplifies the thrill of the hustle and the fall of succumbing to fast money and the responsibilities faced. In essence, it tells the story looking back and for what’s to come: back to life, back to reality, back to the here and now.
The camera filters and color sequences of BELLY were a big inspiration for both the way the lookbook was shot, and the brand’s color palette on this collection. Key fabrications used within the collection include over-dyed denim, contrast rip-stop, meshes, flight satin and nylon. Check out the lookbook below and head to Crooks&Castles for more.
