Last week, the iconic AGENDA show came to Miami for the first time ever. AGENDA has become the streetwear industry’s biggest trade show over the past decade, and the edition of the show normally held in New York this time of year was moved to sunny Miami instead. The move was a great opportunity for founder Aaron Levant to deliver a unique show experience that included parties, art exhibits, and food with a twist of Miami flavor. The Miami move was also smart from a business perspective since it’s a convenient place for both international and east coast based buyers to interact with exhibiting brands and see new offerings.
So we went down to Miami to check it our for ourselves and it did not disappointing. We were greeted with free PBR beers, saw new Miami based brands that hadn’t exhibited at the other AGENDA shows before, and tasted local flavors courtesy of Coyo Tacos. Our favorite part was the installation done by Miami’s own Derick G that you can check out pictures of below. Overall, we had a lot of fun at the first ever AGENDA Miami and we hope the show comes back more often. Check out a gallery of candid shots from our trip below and stay tuned for exclusive sneak peaks of next-season product the brands were showcasing.
